Privacy policy

PennyPace (formerly SpendWise) is a personal budgeting app by Ayhem Benabdennour. The app keeps the financial information you enter on your device.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your budget settings, currency, income, savings, debt and fixed-cost amounts, expenses and notes, saved purchase decisions, and local preference and feedback data. It uses them to calculate and display budgets and purchase prompts. PennyPace does not require an account or bank connection.

App collection and use

The developer does not receive your financial entries through the app. PennyPace has no analytics, advertising, third-party tracking, cloud sync, or app-operated server for your records. Its purchase prompts are estimates based on the information you enter, not professional financial advice.

Export and sharing

You may choose to export expenses as an unencrypted CSV file from Settings. The iOS share sheet lets you choose whether and where to send it. A recipient you select may handle the file under its own terms and privacy policy. PennyPace does not automatically send your records to the developer or a third party. The app creates a temporary CSV for the export and removes it when you close the export screen; if interrupted, iOS may retain it until temporary storage is cleared.

Retention and deletion

Your entries remain on your device until you delete individual expenses or decisions in the app or remove the app and its data from your device. Uninstalling removes local records, subject to your device backup settings. Delete exported CSV copies separately wherever you saved or shared them. The developer cannot retrieve or delete records stored only on your device.

Security

The app relies on iOS device and app storage protections. Protect access to your device and handle exported CSV files carefully because CSV itself is not encrypted.

Support email and this website

If you email ayhembaappstore@gmail.com, your email address and message are delivered to the developer through the email provider and used to respond to you. Avoid including sensitive financial details. Support correspondence may remain in the mailbox until it is no longer needed for support; you can request deletion by email. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process request information such as your IP address to deliver and protect the pages. The pages themselves include no analytics, cookies, or tracking scripts.
